Time Traveler is a work for unaccompanied bass clarinet that is constructed of melodic fragments of canonic solo, orchestral, and chamber bass clarinet literature. These melodic fragments appear both in it's entirety or as a sub-fragment, and are often directly combined with other melodic fragments. Composers whose works have been quoted include Bach, Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich, Khachaturian, Bozza, Dolphy/Holliday, David Lang, and Marc Mellits.
